An STO (School Tuition Organization) is a charitable organization that receives contributions from Iowa taxpayers and allocates those contributions, in the form of tuition grants, to Iowa school children. STO grants give the gift of school choice to families who otherwise could not afford the tuition at a nonpublic school.
Donors enjoy a 65% Iowa income tax credit and a federal tax deduction (if they itemize deductions). Contributions to the STO of Southeast Iowa may be restricted by the donor to one or more of the schools we serve.
You may make your gift with a credit card, check or electronic funds transfer.
2017 forms will be available soon
Gifts totaling $1,236,837 have been received as of 11/17/2016.
No more contributions can be accepted in 2016
The School Tuition Organization of Southeast Iowa has issued all available STO credits as of November 17, 2016. We will not issue any additional credits until January 1, 2017. We look forward to your support at that time.
